The Sierra Club is America's oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization. In Arizona, under the Sierra Club Grand Canyon Chapter there are six groups across the state that help the Sierra Club continue to explore, enjoy and protect the planet. The Saguaro Group is a Northern Maricopa County organization dedicated to pass on a legacy of beauty and wild places, clean air and water and a healthy environment to the next generation. The Saguaro Group members are 1,600 of your friends and neighbors. We are inspired by nature, we work together to protect our communities and the planet, and always have fun in doing so.
You're invited! Attending meetings is the first step in getting active. Conservation, political activism, and leading outdoor activities are just a few areas of volunteer opportunity. All are open to members interested in learning more about the Sierra Club. See our activities section for more and visit our blog for photos and news.
